El guionista y escritor David Trueba ha participado en un curso de la Facultad de Comunicación de la UGR

El guionista y escritor David Trueba ha mantenido este jueves que «el apogeo del documental se debe a la baja calidad informativa de la televisión», a la vez que ha criticado el exceso de espectáculo en los medios de comunicación que, en su opinión, «son incapaces de elaborar un discurso propio».

El también columnista y realizador ha participado este jueves en el curso «Medios audiovisuales y periodismo en la era digital» de la Facultad de Comunicación de la Universidad de Granada para analizar la relación entre «la información, la palabra y la imagen» en un tiempo de «crisis informativa».

En opinión de Trueba, «el periodista no debe permitir que la tecnología pervierta el contenido», en referencia a la tendencia que observa en los medios digitales serios de apostar por «vídeos impactantes» que aumenten las bajadas y las visitas en las web, primando la presencia de estrellas internacionales como Lady Gaga o Beyoncé, ha ejemplificado, sobre hechos noticiosos.

El fútbol es para el autor de la novela «Saber perder», Premio Nacional de la Crítica en 2008, una muestra de «cómo convertir en importante algo que no lo es», consiguiendo transformar este deporte en un «lenguaje universal» que hace que el Real Madrid o el FC Barcelona sean conocidos en cualquier rincón de África o Asia.

Pese a los debates mediáticos, el fútbol es «algo que sucede azarosamente en noventa minutos» y que reúne las tres características que, en opinión de Trueba, debe tener un espectáculo: indefinición, imprevisibilidad y «la capacidad de que el pequeño venza al grande».

«Un futbolista no es nada si no está en el campo», ha añadido el cineasta, que ha calificado el triunfo del jugador del Barcelona FC Leo Messi como un hecho que «debe congratular a todos los defectuosos» porque «no tiene fotogenia».

Frente a fenómenos como la «telebasura», géneros como el documental están en auge porque cumplen con la función de la televisión que ha de ser, según ha opinado ante el auditorio, «generar imágenes con las que tú ya no puedas ser igual después de haberlas visto» con «metáforas» que expliquen «algo universal».

Trueba, que también ha hablado de su relación con guionistas históricos del cine español como Rafael Azcona, se ha referido a la situación sociopolítica e histórica nacional señalando que si tuviera que elegir una «imagen icónica» para identificar a España esa sería la de «Don Quijote embistiendo a unos molinos».

BUSCAN CHICAS ADOLESCENTES PARA UN PROGRAMA DE SALUD SEXUAL

Un equipo de investigadores de la Universidad de Granada busca chicas adolescentes para que participen en un programa de salud sexual, en el que se trabajará la prevención de enfermedades de transmisión sexual y habilidades relacionadas con el uso del preservativo.

Según informó esta Universidad, el objetivo de la iniciativa es enseñar a las adolescentes habilidades que favorezcan la interacción multicultural, las relaciones de igualdad en la pareja y la prevención de enfermedades de transmisión sexual y del sida.

El proyecto está subvencionado por el Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación y pretende que chicas adolescentes (de entre 15 y 18 años) tanto autóctonas como de origen inmigrante «discutan asuntos relacionados con la salud, con las relaciones interpersonales y la comunicación».

El programa consta de cuatro módulos, en los que se tratará la tolerancia intercultural y se trabajarán las habilidades asertivas mediante el entrenamiento en comunicación asertiva y en habilidades relacionadas con el uso del preservativo.

También se abordarán cuestiones relacionadas con las relaciones y dinámicas de poder en las relaciones de parejas adolescentes, enfocándolo desde el punto de vista de las desigualdades de género.

Las chicas que buscan en el programa han de cumplir una serie de requisitos: ser heterosexuales, activas sexualmente, no estar embarazadas y no convivir con su pareja.
