Communiqué 13th March 2020 18h00

In light of the Government’s declaration of a state of alert in Spain, and in anticipation of further details on the specific measures that are to be adopted nationally as a result, the University of Granada—via the Commission set up for this purpose—will continue to closely monitor the situation. It will also work to establish all the procedures and mechanisms necessary to deliver its academic and administrative services and to carry out the required measures to combat the global threat posed by the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19.

It therefore urges all members of the university community to join together in this collective effort by fulfilling their respective obligations in their homes, adhering scrupulously to the recommendations issued by the Health Authorities and keeping themselves up-to-date with latest developments via the University of Granada website.
