La Embajada de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos en Madrid invita a los estudiantes de las universidades españolas para que se presenten en la competición del Premio a la Mejor Práctica Móvil Gubernamental (The Global Best M-Gov Award), que se llevará a cabo en el marco de la Cumbre Mundial de Gobierno 2023.

The “M-Gov Award” and the “GovTech Award” are annual awards organized by the UAE government as part of the World Government Summit. These awards are designed to encourage pioneering students, researchers, government agencies & institutions, private sector companies and startups to develop innovative solutions using the latest technologies in order to address evolving local and global challenges and explore new opportunities for a better future for humanity.
In its eighth edition, “The Global Best M-Gov Award” is presented to students and researchers worldwide enrolled and registered in public and private universities, as well as graduates of the “One Million Coders” Program, in order to highlight the pioneering role of universities and creative and innovative youth in addressing local and global
challenges. The award aims to recognize solutions that adopt novel approaches and techniques efficiently leveraging technology to salve problems affecting a large segment of the population and provide tangible benefits with the ability to expand geographically across borders.
The award is open for students, researchers and graduates of the «One Míllion Arab Coders» Program to submit their projects as long as the application complíes with the nature of the award and the stipulated terms and conditions.
Three winners will be honored in the current edition of the award.
An independent jury team evaluates the submissions to determine the winners. The winners will be announced during the World Government Summit in Dubai from 13 to 15 February 2023.
The submission clases on the 20th of January 2023 at 20:00 GMT.
