Oferta de solicitud de beca predoctoral en Italia

At the University of VERONA (Italy)  a 3-year PhD positions in the field of Food and Analytical chemistry (PhD in Smart Agrifood Sciences) is available to conduct research in the following project:

«Development of innovative analytical methodologies for traceability and monitoring of the beekeeping supply chain»

The successful candidate will build classification models for the botanical/geographical origin of honey based ond spectroscopic fingerprinting, develop sensors for the detection of contaminants and other analytes, perform high-resolution MS-based analysis for bioactive compounds etc.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 23rd, 2024 at 12.00 (noon – Italian time)
Applicants who have not completed their Master degree yet are also entitled to apply, provided that the degree is awarded by the day before the official starting date of the PhD program (October 1st, 2024). Their application will be considered as «provisionally admitted» and they will be required to submit their degree certificate to the PhD Office.
