Vestre Viken hospitals are in need of nurses
Vestre Viken Health Company (HF) consists of 4 hospitals: Bærum and Drammen, as the two largest, and Kongsberg and Ringerike. All hospitals are located in south-eastern part of Norway (west of the capital Oslo). Our hospitals are all located in beautiful environments near a city which offers you plenty of opportunies for hiking, skiing as well as swimming in summer.
Vestre Viken HF supplies hospital and specialist health services to 500 000 people west of the capital Oslo. Vestre Viken consists of about 10 000 employees.
Vestre Viken are currently in a challenge where there are a lack of qualified nurses and are in need of foreign nurses to come to Norway to work.
We need nurses to somatic wards at the hospital. We are also looking for nurses who have experience in intensive care or in theatre (operation) nursing.
Requirements:
• Compulsory Norwegian Authorisation as a nurse, from the Norwegian Registration Authority for Health Personel (SAK) www.sak.no
• Good IT skills
• Norwegian language equal to level B1. Or have a strong interest in learning the language.

• Working time: day, evening, night and weekend.
• Salary according to the Norwegian Collective Wage Agreement.
• Overtime compensation and compensation for weekends and holidays according to the Norwegian Collective Wage Agreement. Compensation includes: Saturday and Sunday, and additional evening and night shift allowance.
Salary range: good salary depending on experience. Nurses with education in intensive care or another speciality will have higher salaries depending on qualifications.
