The College of Science, Engineering and Health (SEH) comprises four Schools delivering a broad range of programs in science, engineering, health and technology at apprenticeship, certificate, bachelor, masters and PhD levels.  Many programs articulate between vocational and higher education, creating pathways for further study. The School of Civil, Environmental and Chemical Engineering provides a range of higher education programs at undergraduate and postgraduate research levels.
Based in the School of Engineering and reporting to the Deputy Head of School, Chemical Engineering, two positions are currently available.  The roles will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the Chemical Engineering program and will be actively involved in research, consulting and other professional activities. The successful candidates will have demonstrated expertise and experience in one of the areas of water, rheology, food, multiphase flow, colloid science and microfluidics.
We are seeking outstanding candidates with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to prepare and effectively deliver engineering educational programs with the ability to produce high quality teaching material at tertiary level. Also required is an ability to develop innovative approaches to course delivery and student-centered learning that successfully exploits new technologies, with a commitment to continuous quality improvement through ongoing training and development.
The successful candidates must also demonstrate a strong research track record as well as possess a PhD in a relevant field such as Chemical engineering that will meet the research and teaching and learning objectives of the school. Substantial industry experience in Chemical Engineering will be looked upon favourably.  This role also requires a level of strategic planning, creative thinking and critical analysis.
