This position requires a minimum of a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Science, or related field, and 5 Years Experience.

Experience should include:

– LIMS experience in a pharmaceutical research or biotechnology environment strongly preferred.

– Java application development experience required.

– .Net C# and Phyton Experience.

– Familiarity with biological laboratory techniques.

Tareas:

We are looking for a Software Developer and LIMS Developer The Software Developer collaborates with lab units & LIMS analysts to improve the end-user experience and adoption of software applications. The Developer builds and maintains end-to-end solutions based on functional requirements.
The candidate will participate in process improvement / automation projects from process analysis through to implementation of the application or system.
The candidate will support the biotechnology research areas in the design and development of scientific applications around the customization and integration of the LIMS and other software/database applications. T
he individual is responsible for aspects of the software development lifecycle, including: design, implementation, testing and maintenance of scientific applications.
The candidate will be responsible for new and existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, deploy and maintain relational database applications using ORACLE.
Work with the laboratory and technical personnel to understand their processes and suggest improvement opportunities.
Create user-centered designs based on functional requirements, user research, customer feedback, and usability findings.
Design user interfaces by using conceptual design techniques such as creating visual mockups, prototypes, and diagrams.
