To promote active and flexible learning by using innovative and studentcentred didactic methodologies

Why?

It is crucial to promote active and innovative teaching and learning methodologies in order to replace traditional learning models that contribute to students· demotivation and eventual withdrawal from studies. Student-centred methodologies seek to enhance the teaching and learning process, making it more flexible and adaptable to various contexts. Likewise, these methodologies strive to generate new online and multimedia-based content formats in order to improve teaching quality, provide access to resources and services and facilitate processes of collaboration and exchange.

How?

By assuring a continuous improvement in the skills and methods of our teaching staff, as well as an adequate and coherent appreciation of teaching as a key pillar of university activity. By supporting the development of organisational structures that foster the continuous and ongoing training of teaching staff, the acquisition of digital skills and their adaptation to the needs of higher education in a pluralistic and globalised world.

Acciones prioritarias

Establecer planes específicos de innovación y formación docente centrados en metodologías activas de aprendizaje, en la tutorización y orientación al estudiantado, las TIC aplicadas a la docencia universitaria y la evaluación continua.

Apoyar e impulsar las metodologías docentes virtuales como complemento a la formación presencial.

Apostar por una estructura de títulos flexibles que permita la conformación de currícula adaptados utilizando las tecnologías habilitadoras como las microcredenciales o similares.

Desarrollar una red de apoyo administrativo y técnico-pedagógico al PDI para la formación continua y la innovación.

Reorientar y potenciar los programas de innovación docente, buscando la vinculación con el tejido productivo y la transferencia de conocimiento.

Fomentar la movilidad y el intercambio de experiencias docentes entre universidades.
