Why?
Measures must be taken to create an ecosystem with a solid, flexible and organised structure that allows for excellent research in all areas of knowledge. Moreover, it is essential to develop a digital ecosystem for research, supported by an environment of digital infrastructures and services that enable the establishment of synergies and multidisciplinary collaborations, both internal and external. In particular, high capacities in areas such as ICT infrastructures, supercomputing and artificial intelligence can contribute significantly to the creation of a research ecosystem with great future potential for knowledge generation.
How?
By increasing our efforts to attract more funding, primarily through European calls for proposals, to enable us to recruit more highly qualified staff. By improving research infrastructures and means, increasing the acquisition of information resources and supporting the dissemination of knowledge.
Acciones prioritarias
Incrementar la financiación destinada a la investigación, impulsando la obtención de fondos y ayudas públicas, así como la captación de recursos a través de la colaboración con empresas y entidades privadas.
Potenciar la Biblioteca Universitaria como servicio clave en la gestión de la información y del conocimiento, de apoyo y asesoramiento a la producción científica de excelencia y al acceso abierto.
Mejorar las infraestructuras, espacios y servicios de apoyo a la ciencia y adquirir nuevas infraestructuras y equipamientos científicos vinculados a grandes proyectos transformadores.
Conseguir la optimización de los recursos científicos mediante la coordinación del acceso a las infraestructuras y equipamientos científicos de la UGR.
Fortalecer el ecosistema digital para la investigación de excelencia facilitando el acceso a infraestructuras y servicios electrónicos avanzados.
