To achieve a high capacity for knowledge transfer and to place the institution at the forefront of Spanish research in accordance with its research potential

Why?

Traditionally, Spanish universities have not been sufficiently oriented towards transfer and innovation, which is why we occupy a much lower position in international research rankings than what would be expected based on our research potential. Therefore, efforts should be made to promote a change in the organisational culture of the institution and the immediate productive environment in favour of innovation and transfer. For this, we aim to foster closer and more effective partnerships between the UGR and the socio-economic fabric through the definition of common objectives

How?

By changing the organisational culture of the institution to boost knowledge transfer. By implementing an institutional policy of knowledge transfer and promotion through its own specific plans. By changing the governance system to focus more effectively on transfer and devote more material and human resources to this activity. By expanding and consolidating structures related to the transfer of results.

Acciones prioritarias

Implantar una política institucional de valorización y transferencia de conocimiento que se apoye en los pilares más representativos de las áreas de conocimiento, mediante el establecimiento de un Plan Propio de Transferencia.

Establecer y promover alianzas estratégicas necesarias entre todos los agentes implicados en el ecosistema de innovación que permita incrementar la capilaridad de las acciones de promoción tecnológica y sirva de catalizador para la transformación hacia un modelo de crecimiento económico basado en el conocimiento.

Ampliar y consolidar las estructuras relacionadas con la transferencia de resultados para promover y gestionar la investigación colaborativa, la valorización y comercialización de tecnologías, la creación de empresas de base tecnológica y la formación de personal investigador en materia de gestión y transferencia de conocimiento.

Intensificar las actividades de formación sobre transferencia para el estudiantado de grado, posgrado y, principalmente de doctorado, y personal investigador novel.

Potenciar y ampliar la protección de propiedad intelectual y de resultados de la investigación.
