POSITION OPEN: INNOVATION LEADER (Location: Madrid) 17 January 2017
The Equipment Testing and Certification (EC) department of ALTER TECHNOLOGY located in Tres Cantos (Madrid) is a provider of technological solutions regarding product compliance to companies in high demanding industries such as Aerospace & Defence, Security and Fire, Railway etc.
EC is looking for an Innovation leader to reinforce its strategy of innovation to provide ALTER´s customers with new and more efficient testing solutions and to give response to new technological challenges. The Innovation leader is expected to lead the innovation strategy in the department, identifying opportunities, new technologies and methodologies. He/she will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key partners and Universities. He should have an active participation in industry technical groups and events. He will work closely with ALTER commercial managers to learn customer´s needs and with other internal resources such as the corporate innovation director, project managers and engineers. He/she will act as the technology expert in areas such EMC, sensing, measurement and testing technologies… He/she will manage innovation projects under his/her responsibility.
Requirements:
We look for a highly qualified person with a strong interest in technology and methodologies over a broad spectrum of disciplines.
Phd in Engineering or Physics.
Experience in electromagnetic compatibility analysis, modeling, simulation and testing.
Background and experience in sensing, measurement and testing technologies.
Competence in reliability analysis of EEE components, equipment and systems.
Experience in design and testing of digital and analog electronics (HW / SW), control and safety systems will be very valuable.
Person committed to quality, responsible, efficient and mind structured, flexible, with capacity for teamwork, initiative and independence.
Excellence command of English.
Good project manager skills.
